Troubleshooting - LAN Printers

If you are experiencing issues with your LAN printer, check if the problem matches the following and try the following steps:

Printer is not connected:

 

  1. Restart

Often, it's the simple things that can make everything work again, so try doing this first.

  1. Tap on the respective printer in the app under Modules > Printers.
  2. Tap on Delete Printer.
  3. Restart the iPad, printer, and the Quickorder app.
  4. Reconnect by following these instructions.

 

Printer cannot connect:

  1. Check the IP address.

The printer and iPad should be on the same IP address.

 

  1. Turn off the printer > hold down the feed button > turn on the printer. It will now print a piece of paper with the IP address.
  2. Go to Settings on your iPad and tap on Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap on the i -button to view the IP address and check if it matches the one on the printer

 

If the iPad and printer are on the same network:

  1. Try using a different internet cable for the printer.
  2. Restart the router.

If the iPad and printer are not on the same network:

  1. Contact us either by email at support@quickorder.dk or by phone at +45 71 99 26 24.

Note: If the Quickorder POS app has been deleted and reinstalled, LAN printers must be deleted and reconnected.
