An ingredient can be linked to a product as additions to a product, for instance, if you want to enable extra cheese in a burger. Further more it can be linked by inventory, thus allowing to keep track of the stock for the standard ingredients of the
This article shows the two different ways of linking ingredients to a product.
1. Select the product that you want to add ingredients to:
- Go to "Menu" and find the product you want to edit.
- Click the three dots, and select "Edit".
2a. Linking through ingredients:
- Scroll to the "Ingredients" section and click "Add ingredient group".
- Fill in the information:
- Group name: Enter a name for the ingredient group.
- Name: Depending on what you like to link, switch the Ingredients/Recipes toggle. Select the ingredient/recipe you would like to link.
- Price: The price of the item.
- Free: The number of free items.
- Standard: The number of items standard in the product.
- Quantity used: The number of items used.
- Click "Done" and "Save"
2b. Linking through inventory:
- Scroll to the "Inventory" section, click "Edit", and click "Add ingredient".
- Fill in the information:
- Name: Depending on what you like to link, switch the Ingredients/Recipes toggle. Select the ingredient/recipe you would like to link.
- Quantity used: The number of items used.
- Click "Done" and "Save".
